Secretary of State Barbara Cegavske isn’t commenting publicly about her accusations that the Nevada DMV is at fault for illegal voting in the last election. She did release a statement saying her office has a list of just over 100 people statewide who, presented evidence of non-citizenship while obtaining services from the DMV; and completed a voter registration application while at the DMV. After determining that 21 individuals from that list voted, this information was given to investigators with the Secretary of State’s office. She says based on the information they have so far, they have evidence that three non-citizens illegally registered and voted in Clark County in the last election. She says they anticipate they will have additional information about the investigation in the next few months.
