Senator Dean Heller delivered a tough take down, of the Energy Departments plans to restart the licensing process for Yucca Mountain. He says the government has wasted billions already on a project Nevada doesn’t want.  Heller says the tunnel collapse at Hanford Washington at a nuclear storage site should be a wake up call about what Nevada could be dealing with today. But Heller emphasized, because the waste would be constantly on the move the risk will be national.  Heller says we need a real consent based solution to a very real problem.
