Reno Fire & Police Supporting Breast Cancer Awareness

The Reno Fire Department and Reno Police Department will again be supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month during October. They are selling custom pink shirts to the public, with the proceeds benefiting Moms on the Run, a nonprofit organization in Reno. Moms on the Run assists local breast and gynecological cancer patients during their treatments. Standard T-shirts are $10, women’s-style shirts are $15 and long-sleeve shirts are $20. A variety of sizes are available, including youth sizes. Also, $800 from RPD’s Race for the Cure team went to Susan G. Komen of Northern Nevada.
