The City of Reno will be doing some restoration work on the Truckee River Whitewater Park starting today. The work will remove sediment and cobbles deposited during floods, and restore the whitewater park pools to their original size. The work is scheduled for Monday thru Friday, 7am to 5pm for the next three to six weeks. Wingfield Park will be partly or fully closed during work hours.
