Sandoval, Heller at Odds Over Healthcare

If asked, Governor Brian Sandoval says he would urge Senator Dean Heller to support the bipartisan compromise ACA fix, the Alexander-Murray bill, which the CBO says would stabilize insurance markets, and cut the federal deficit by 3.8 billion dollars. His democratic challenger, Jacky Rosen, a member of the house “Problem Solvers Caucus,” is ready to vote for it, and says it’s time for Heller to stop trying to find the 50th vote to gut Medicaid and take away health care for millions, and end the cuts to cost sharing reduction payments the Governor has called “Devastating” to Nevada.
