The Chairman of the Clark County Commission, Steve Sisolak, is calling on Attorney General Adam Laxalt to sign onto a letter to Congress urging them to pass the “SAFE Banking Act,” to address the legal marijuana industry’s banking needs. Laxalt is the only attorney general from a state with legalized marijuana that has not signed onto the letter. Sisolak says Laxalt seems more than willing to sign onto partisan lawsuits and letters, but seems averse to joining bipartisan efforts. Both men are contenders in the Governor’s race.
