Nevada Governor Releases Statement Following President’s Call For Bump Stock Ban

President Trump says he has directed the Justice Department to ban devices that modify guns, such as the bump stocks used in last year’s massacre in Las Vegas. Last October, gunman Stephen Paddock mowed down a crowd of concert-goers from his hotel room, after attaching bump stocks to at least 12 of his semiautomatic guns. Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval released a statement saying, “I applaud President Trump for making this issue a priority within his administration and pledge to work with him on this important issue. The safety of our children and families is second to none.”
