Carson City Sheriff’s Office wants you to know, they will conduct an alcohol compliance check Friday. Minor decoys will be sent into local businesses in Carson City that serve alcohol. The decoys will attempt to purchase alcohol, using their real identification. Our goal is to have 100 percent compliance and have no alcohol be sold to our decoys. Remember anyone who buys alcohol must be born on or before the day of the purchase in 1997, making them 21 years old.
