The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a bank robber. Tuesday a man walked into the U.S. Bank branch inside the Safeway grocery store in Pollock Pines, California. He showed a gun to two tellers and demanded money. After getting it, he left the bank, possibly to a vehicle had waiting behind the business, on or along Highway 50. The man appeared to be white, about 5’8″ and 175 pounds. He had disguised himself with glued-on facial hair, sunglasses, and a red bandana, which covered what is believed to be a long-hair wig.Investigators say he might have been driving an early- to mid-2000s model white Chevy Tahoe Z71. He may be the same person wanted for a string of burglaries in Yolo, Placer, Sutter, and Sacramento counties.
