Sparks Police have talked to the man investigators thought may have tried to kidnap a 6-year-old girl Wednesday night in west Sparks. He was interviewed yesterday afternoon. After that interview officers concluded, “this was not an attempted kidnapping and that no crime occurred.” The incident began when a neighbor claimed to have seen the man walking with the girl hand-in-hand away from her apartment building.
