Twelve people were displaced when four homes burned late Saturday at River Rock and Pine Street near the National Automobile Museum. The home where the fire started is a complete loss. That home was boarded up last year after a fire in December, it was scheduled to be demolished. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. According to officials, the fire started in the backyard. There is a lot of dense vegetation and the fire quickly spread and caught the homes on fire. An NV Energy employee was treated on scene for smoke inhalation.
