Home Prices Continued to Climb in June

The Reno/Sparks Association of REALTORS says home prices continued to climb in June.  The report listed the median sales price for a single family home in Washoe County in June at $385,000; an increase of 16 percent from last year and a 3 percent increase from the first quarter of 2018. Reno’s median sales price was $395,369 for the first quarter and is now over 404 thousand dollars in June. The Sparks median for June jumped to $361,000. All sales numbers are for existing “stick built single family dwellings” only and do not include condo, town homes, manufactured, modular or newly constructed homes. Doug McIntire the RSAR President says ,”There is just no inventory, and that continues to drive pricing up, which is frustrating to buyers.”
