19 year old Jacob James Poochigian of Reno has been sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 29 years. Poochigian was sentenced for Sexual Assault, Kidnapping, Robbery with Use of a Deadly Weapon, Battery with Intent to Commit Sexual Assault, and Coercion. He was also sentenced on a related case to a consecutive 15 year term, for Solicitation to Commit Murder. The sentencing followed those of two codefendants who participated with him in the armed robbery. Demarcus Deandre Patrick and Mathew James Gray each pleaded guilty and were sentenced to 13 year prison terms. The victim was a 50 year old Reno woman who was attacked after getting off a bus to walk home on April, 2017.
