Home Prices Continue to Rise in Reno-Sparks Area

Home prices continued to rise in June in the greater Reno-Sparks area, because of a lack of inventory. The June median price jumped to 385 thousand in Washoe County, that’s a 16% rise from a year ago. Reno Sparks Association of Realtors President Doug McIntyre says lending practices are sound, FICO scores are holding, but there’s just no inventory and that continues to drive pricing and frustrate buyers. June new listings are down 11% from June 2017.
