Sparks Police have a very nice photo of a man who stole $274 in groceries from a supermarket. About 12:30PM Thursday the man seen in the photo was seen leaving the Safeway on Vista Boulevard with a shopping cart full of various items. He passed all the registers and didn’t pay. Police say a witness saw him push the cart to a Toyota sedan in the parking lot and took a picture. The car has California license plate 5RME637, but police say that plate is not connected to the California Department of Motor Vehicles and came back with no information. The Sparks Police Department is asking anyone with information about the man to contact the Sparks Police or Secret Witness.
