RTC is closing 4th Street in Reno from Quincy Avenue to Evans Avenue from today to August 31 for paving. Westbound traffic will not be affected by the lane closure. Eastbound traffic can detour on Evans Avenue to Sutro Avenue via 2nd Street or 6th Street. The RTC also plans to close the 4th Street-Evans Avenue intersection from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. on August 15th and again on August 31st for paving. Traffic will be detoured to Lake Street. The work is part of the 4th Street/Prater Way Bus RAPID Transit project. Businesses along this corridor remain open and accessible during construction.
