One Person Cited For Started The Rio Alayne Fire

The Sparks Fire Department says one person has been cited for starting the Rio Alayne Fire Sunday. The human-caused but accidental fire is 100 percent contained after burning 25 acres. No specific information has been given about how the fire was started. Damage was limited to fences of three properties and some power poles. NV Energy repaired the poles and reported no outages. Flames burned within 100 feet of some homes.
