The 25th annual National Public Lands Day is this Saturday, the 22nd, a day when you’re encouraged to get out to your favorite outdoor spot, and help restore the area. One of the events close by is the invasive species clean up at Idlewild Park. Annie with the Truckee Meadows parks Foundation talks about the plants you’ll be digging up, if you go.

The clean up goes from 9am until noon, and everyone who participates gets a T-shirt.
