This Summer Was Reno’s Hottest on Record

This summer was Reno’s hottest on record, this after summer 2017 set heat records. The National Weather Service says the average daytime high for the months of June, July and August was 93.6 degrees, a third of a degree hotter that 2017. Temperatures reached 90 degrees for a record 56 consecutive days, finally ending August 25th. The thermometer hit 100 20 times. It was sixteen times the previous year, that’s now the old record.
