Crews Stop Progress on Wildfire North of Sun Valley

Multiple crews are on the scene of a 120-acre brush fire burning north of Sun Valley. The Chimney fire broke out around noon on BLM land. Officials have not release an estimate for containment, but say they have stopped forward progress of the fire. The cause is under investigation, no homes are currently threatened. Crews also responded to the Duck Hill Fire near Washoe Lake in south Washoe County yesterday. That fire burned about 12 acres before being stopped.
