Man Arrested After Pulling Out a Gun At Local Store

A man has been arrested after an incident in a Reno area convenience store. 28-year-old Calvin Earl Golden was booked on charges that included drawing a deadly weapon in a threatening manner, being a prohibited person in possession of a gun and driving under the influence of alcohol. The gang unit says Golden appeared to recognize someone in line at the store, he threatened the man and they fought. Golden then pulled out a handgun and after realizing the clerk called the police, he fled the store. Police found Golden’s vehicle in the area and Golden was known to the gang unit, so they put the vehicle under surveillance. Golden returned to the vehicle and drove away and police pulled over the vehicle. Golden appeared to be drunk, the gang unit said. They also found he had a gun.
