Washoe County Regional Animal Services is offering seniors a free vaccination and microchip clinic for pet owners. The event is Tuesday the 16th, at the Washoe County Human Services Agency on East Ninth Street from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. If you’re 60 or over, with a valid ID, your pet can not only get free vaccinations and microchips, but first time licenses are also available. Distemper/Parvo and Rabies vaccinations for dogs and FVRCP and Rabies vaccinations for cats are available. You can renew your dog’s license too, for $8.00. There is a pet limit of three dogs and seven cats per residence. Retractable leashes are not allowed.
