Sparks Hometowne Christmas has been nominated in USA Today’s 2018 10Best Readers’ Choice travel awards. The contest gives voters four weeks to vote for the candidates of their choice here. People can vote once a day through Monday, December 10. Winners will be announced December 21st. The City of Sparks’ Hometowne Christmas parade weekend is scheduled for Friday, November 30, starting with the annual tree lighting ceremony and ending with the Christmas Parade Saturday, December 1st.
