A fire early Sunday in south Reno damaged a garage but did not spread to the home. The Reno fire Department sent crews to a fire in the 11000 block of Messina Court near Veterans Parkway. All of the residents were out of the home before they arrived. No on was injured. A resident said it appears the fire was started because of an electrical problem. The fire department is investigating.
