The actions of Reno Fire Departments “Truck one” crew, led Fire Chief Dave Cochran to present them with the Chief’s Lifesaving Medal. The crew saved a distraught person at risk of harming himself or others, while atop a multi story building.

The humble heroes are Captain Justin Aytes, Operator Maurice Carter, Firefighter Tom Dunn and Firefighter Justin Mitchell. Captain Aytes told the Reno City Council he is proud of his crew.
