A driver described as reckless caused several crashes before coming to a stop on Interstate 80 near Keystone Avenue, blocking three lanes of traffic Thursday afternoon. The NHP received a report of a pickup being driven erratically on westbound I-80 near the Patrick Exit about 2:35 pm. Troopers found the vehicle near the Spaghetti Bowl and pulled it over. When a trooper walked up to the vehicle, the driver took off. The driver then apparently caused a crash around Wells Avenue. The NHP caught up to the pickup around Keystone Avenue and pushed it into the median to get it stop. The driver was taken to a hospital but did not appear to have serious injuries.
