Businesses Step up To Support TSA Workers at Reno-Tahoe International

Travelers have been feeling the heat at airports across the country as the government shutdown continues. TSA employees have been calling out from work at a rate of more than 7 percent. Several destinations, like Miami and Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson, have been forced to close TSA checkpoints, causing hours long wait times, but there’s no hold ups at Reno Tahoe International according to spokesman Brian Kulpin.

More than 51,000 TSA employees have been working without pay since Dec. 22nd.
