Nevada Humane Society Adopting Out Cats Affected by California’s Camp Fire

The Nevada Humane Society is offering nearly two dozen cats affected by the Camp Fire up for adoption today. The cats have been at the Humane Society for ten days after they were found in the remains of Paradise, California, much of which was destroyed by the 2018 fire. Their families have either not been located or chose to give up their cats. The cats were transferred from FieldHaven Feline Center in Lincoln, Calif. and the Alley Cat Allies Recovery Center in Marysville, Calif.
