Reno Police are looking for a violent mugger. The man stole a woman’s purse and dragged her in the process. About 5:30 PM March 12, the victim was on the 5000 block of West 7th Street, near North McCarran, when she was approached by a man who grabbed her purse and tried to run away with it. The victim kept hold of the purse and was dragged several feet before letting go, according to police. The suspect then ran to a bicycle and got away. The suspect is an Hispanic man in his mid-thirties to mid-forties, 5’8″ with a medium to heavy build. He had dark hair, and was wearing a green baseball cap, blue jeans and a dark coat.
