Democratic Assemblyman Mike Sprinkle of Sparks is resigning his seat in the legislature, after sexual harassment accusation were leveled against him. Sprinkle has served in the legislature since 2013, representing District 30. Sprinkle’s resignation comes with an apology, saying he’s disappointed in himself for anything he’s done to bring discredit to the legislature, and says he’s taking full responsibility for his actions, and adds he will continue to seek therapy to better himself.
