Checkpoint Planned For Saturday in Reno

St Patrick’s celebrants, be on your best behavior, Nevada Highway Patrol will conduct a sobriety checkpoint in the greater Reno area Saturday. The checkpoint is from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m.
They say impaired driving not only puts your life and the lives of others in danger, but the cost of driving under the influence is extremely high. Drivers that are driving impaired can expect the average cost of a DUI to exceed $10,000 with legal fees, court fines, and higher insurance rates, along with jail time, DUI classes, and license suspensions.
