Mono County Sheriff’s Office Releases Name of Snowboarder Who Fell From a Cliff

The Mono County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of a snowboarder who died Tuesday after falling from a cliff. 31-year-old Justin Khoshnevis of Los Alamitos, California. fell from the cliffs above Twin Lakes, across from Tamarack Lodge and north of “Hole in the Wall.” Mono County Paramedics, Mammoth Lakes Fire Department and Mammoth Lakes Police Department responded, and hiked to the area where the man had fallen; they determined he died as the result of the fall.
The investigation indicates Khoshnevis, was in an out of bounds from Mammoth Mountain Ski Area.
