A bill that requires employers to offer 40 hours a year of earned paid sick leave is moving in the state legislature. State Senator Joyce Woodhouse calls paid sick leave a basic workplace standard all families should have access to. As amended the bill would require it on businesses with 50 or more employees. Reno Sparks Chamber and other business groups are supporting the bill, in its amended form.
