South Lake Tahoe Police Arrest Burglary Suspects

South Lake Tahoe Police have arrested two women they believe committed at least six vehicle burglaries in 13 hours; possibly more. Kiasi Luboviski and Briana Williams, both 23, were booked into the South Lake Tahoe jail last night. Police say they recovered $1,500 in cash, five cell phones, a laptop computer, numerous gift cards, credit cards, and personal effects that will be returned to the owners. Wednesday, police got a call about a car burglary at Sierra Athletic Club when someone smashed a car window and stole a purse. About 30 minutes later, there was another window-smash burglary at Fit Republic gym. Thursday, police received calls of vehicle burglaries from Gym Love and Sierra Athletic Club. With help of credit card companies, police went to the Safeway and CVS Pharmacy on Lake Tahoe Boulevard, where stolen cards were being used, and found a vehicle that matched one in the area of the other burglaries. Luboviski and Williams walked out of the CVS and police stopped them and found the stolen items.
