The 2019 Symposium on Community and Policing is coming up this Thursday inside Washoe County Chambers. The annual meeting brings local law enforcement together with the public in a forum setting to discuss issues in our community, and this year their focusing on Immigration and Hate Crimes. They also have a room for open discussions, where you’ll be able to talk with NHP, Reno and Sparks Police, and a members from Washoe County Sheriff’s, DA’s office, and school district police. Informational booths open at 5:30 pm, and the symposium begins at 6.
