Are Nevada’s Distracted Driving Laws Enough?

More than 1,000 people are injured every day because of distracted driving accidents. Because April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month, LetsTalk.com took a look into individual state cell phone laws, to determine which states have the harshest and most lenient laws in place to keep drivers safe. Nevada received a “C” for having only a few distracted driving laws in place. The report says states that have more cell phone laws in place tend to have fewer car crash fatalities. People in their twenties had the highest rate of fatal car crashes. Men were more likely to be involved in distracted driving-related crashes. The most lenient state of all is Montana where you can legally text while you drive. Letstalk urges drivers to invest in hands-free accessories, such as a blue-tooth speakerphone. See more here
