Two people were injured last night after a crash at the intersection of Wells Ave and the I-80 eastbound on-ramp. When police arrived they learned that one vehicle was traveling north bound and struck a vehicle that was traveling southbound and attempting to make a left turn to enter the eastbound freeway on-ramp. Both drivers were injured, one has life threatening injuries, and were transported to RENOWN for medical treatment. It appears that alcohol is a factor in the crash.
