It’s was up to a Washoe County jury to decide if a man on death row since 1985, should have his sentence reduced to life without parole, or life with a chance for parole, or whether his death sentence remains in effect. Tracy Petrocelli murdered James Wilson of Reno in 1982, and two other people, one in California and one in Washington State. The jury voted for a death sentence again. Petrocelli’s guilt was never in question.
