Gang Member Arrested With Nearly a Pound of Methamphetamines

A white supremacist gang member has been arrested after a year-long investigation. A year ago Christopher Wadstein was arrested for the theft of 17 guns taken from a car in a South Tahoe parking lot. Wadstein got out on bail, and left El Dorado County. Detectives learned Wadstein, was moving around between North Dakota, Sacramento, and Douglas County, where he has outstanding warrants for assault with a deadly weapon. May 21st South Tahoe Police, the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office and the El Dorado County DA’s Office, went to the Sacramento area to find him. They found him headed toward South Lake Tahoe on Highway 50 near the Ponderosa exit. After a chase on highway 50, his truck caught fire, and he was arrested near South Sacramento with nearly a pound of methamphetamines.
