A fire caused minor damage to businesses at Mira Loma Drive and McCarran Boulevard in southeast Reno last night. The Reno Fire Department responded to the fire just before 8:00 o’clock. Businesses next to the Raley’s were evacuated. The cause is under investigation. Before the fire, an item was thrown into the Goodwill Store shattering a window. It’s not clear if it is related to the fire.
