Is Dayton, Nevada one of the “Nicest Places in America?”

Dayton is a candidate for the “Nicest Places in America” contest. Dayton is one of 50 finalists vying for the honor. Resident Shelly Rosario nominated the town to Reader’s Digest and it was picked to represent Nevada. She moved to Dayton 14 years ago from Simi Valley, California. She says the reason she considers Dayton the nicest is the people and the small town feel.
The Reader’s Digest contest runs until July 21. The winning place will be on the cover of Reader’s Digest. You can vote at rd.com/nicestplaces
