A Sun Valley woman is facing 15 charges in a credit card fraud investigation. Kayla Rose Sechrengost was booked into the Washoe County jail accused of identity theft, unlawful use of another person’s credit card, burglary, and embezzlement. The charges are based on crimes allegedly committed between July 2015 and April 2019. The victim trusted Sechrengost to assist with finances while undergoing medical treatment. But they say Sechrengost made nearly $10,000 in purchases without the victim’s consent.
