The Reno City Council is considering buying the Reno Gazette Journal building at 955 Kuenzli Street for the Reno Police Department’s future headquarters. The proposal is for the inclusion of Evidence Storage, Dispatch, a secondary Emergency Operations Center, and a workspace for critical social service agencies. It would add more floor space with more access for officers and the public. Sale of the current building for the Reno Police Department will also be discussed.
