Sexually Hostile Environment Case Against City of Reno Proceeds

One of the cases against the City of Reno, over accusations of a sexually hostile work environment will go forward, another will not. A Reno Federal judge says claims by former city communications director Deanna Gescheider can proceed. But Judge Miranda Du granted the city “Summary judgement,” ruling the claims by another former city employee did not meet federal standards for the charge she has made. Both claims were related to sex harassment accusations against former City Manager Andrew Clinger, and the City’s response to them.
