Renown Health Says Some Patient Information May be at Risk

Renown Health is advising customers that a thumb drive went missing June 30 that may have included medical information about people who received inpatient services at Renown South Meadows Medical Center between Jan. 1, 2012 and June 14, 2019. According to the hospital, that could include patient names, medical record numbers, diagnoses, clinical information, dates of admission and physician’s names. It did not include patient Social Security numbers or any financial information. They recommend patients review statements from health care providers and if they see services listed they did not receive to contact the provider immediately.
