The Nevada Alliance for Retired Americans and others are rallying at Nevada Senator Jacky Rosen’s Reno office, for the national “People Over PhaRMA Profit,” day of action. The group has some definite ideas on how to reduce prescription prices. Alliance President Tom Bird says getting generic drugs into the marketplace faster will help millions.

Their suggestions include allowing Americans to legally import prescription drugs from countries with safe drug supplies, and allow Medicare to use it’s power of scale to negotiate lower prices.
