Firefighters continue to battle the Hungry Fire, burning in the hills northwest of Hungry Valley. The fire started about 1pm, Monday,  and has burned an estimated 180 acres as of 6pm. A Code Red evacuation advisory has been issued from Campo Rico to Winnemucca Ranch Road. Structure protection has moved into Pebble Creek, and residents are urged to remain vigilant. Several state, local and federal agencies are working with Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District to stop the fire, as they manage a ground and air attack.
