Walker Fire in The Plumas National Forest Now More Than 67 Percent Contained

The Walker Fire in the Plumas National Forest has burned over 53,000 acres. Sunday, officials put containment at 67 percent, up from 42 percent on Saturday morning. The forecast calls for rain Monday which fire crews expect will help with the fight. Currently 1,770 personnel are assigned to the fire. No structures have been lost, the cause is under investigation.
