The man arrested in the killing of a man in a Fallon Latter Day Saints Church, has been found competent to stand trial. John O’Connor is accused in the shooting death of Bert Miller in July 2018, and the wounding of his brother Duane Miller. Miller was a longtime Fallon Firefighter. Previous examinations of O’Connor found that he was not mentally competent to stand trial. He’s at Lake Crossing in Sparks.
