The Reno Fire Department says a homeowner caused a fire Tuesday in the area of Neil Road and Riley Avenue. They say the homeowner was illegally burning debris in his yard when wind blew it into a tree. Crews were able to control the fire before it could damage any homes. A fence was destroyed, there were no injuries.
